A product of Aburi Girls Secondary School where she obtained her “O” level and “A” level in 1989 and 1991 respectively.
She then proceeded to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology where she obtained a BA (Hons) Geography and Sociology Degree.
In 2002, she graduated from the University of Hull with an MBA (General Management).
She started her working life with Kumasi Polytechnic where she was appointed Assistant Secretary, Human Resources and then Assistant Secretary Public relations.
She joined KNUST in the year 2004 as an Assistant Registrar and was posted to the School of Medical Sciences.
In 2009 she was transferred to the College of Science. Ida has served on a number of statutory and Adhoc committees of the University.
She was promoted to the rank of Senior Assistant Registrar in October 2011.
Married to Rev. Paul Sam Saeed and together, they have three beautiful children, Khehsedad, Dauphnie and Jesse Sam.
