A product of O’Reily and Labone Secondary Schools where she obtained her ‘O’ level and “A” level in 1991 and 1993 respectively.
She then proceeded to the University of Cape Coast, to pursue a Bachelor degree in Educational Psychology in 1996 and was awarded the Degree in 1999.
In 2008 she graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management. She started her working life with Tepa Senior Secondary School where she was appointed Tutor for English Language and a counsellor for the school.
She joined KNUST in the year 2002 as Senior Administrative Assistant and was posted to the Faculty of Social Sciences by dint of hard work and further studies, she was redesignated as Assistant Registrar in 2010 and posted to the Faculty of Agriculture until 2016 when she was transferred to the General Administration and to the International Programmes Office in 2018.
Gladys has served on a number of statutory and Adhoc committees of the University which includes Committee to Review the criteria for Appointments and Promotions of Senior Members – Administrative and Professional. She was promoted to the rank of Senior Assistant Registrar in 2018.
Married to Mr. Prince Kwaku Addai and together, they have three (3) beautiful children namely: Bernard Kwadwo Addai, Matilda Nana Akua Addai and John Addai Nimo.
