On Thursday, October 2, 2025, twelve students from the Department of Physics paid a courtesy call on Professor Esmeranda Manful, Vice Dean of the International Programmes Office (IPO), at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) ahead of their departure for a 10-month exchange programme in Mathematics and Computational Physics at University of L’Aquila, Italy.

Professor Manful congratulated the postgraduate students on their selection, describing it as both a privilege and a responsibility.
She encouraged the students to remain disciplined, embrace cultural diversity, and make the most of the opportunities ahead of them. The exchange programme, she added, was a gateway to broader academic cooperation between KNUST and L'Aquila University.
