Team from the University of Nottingham, UK, Call on Dean of International Programmes Office

A team of three comprising Professor Mohamed Elmaghrbi, Director of Student Recruitment, Mrs. Lucy Rose, Senior Education and Student Experience Manager (Admissions), both from the Faculty of Engineering and Ms. Emma Tarrant Tayou, Director of Graduate Guidance Group and Consultant/Authorised Representative of the University of Nottingham in Ghana called on the Dean of the International Programmes Office, Prof. Daniel Y. A. Duah on June 19, 2023.

Following the recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between KNUST and the University of Nottingham, UK, there has been series of engagements to enhance the collaboration. The expanded agreement focuses on the colleges of Engineering, Art and Built Environment, Health Sciences and Science.

Discussions focused on the upcoming visit of university leadership, supporting the development of new programmes in sports and medicine science and supporting the growth of the Department at KNUST, staff mobility focusing on administrative staff, pharmacy practice student mobility to Nottingham, student leadership exchanges among others.

Prof. Duah welcomed the team again and looked forward to working together to create opportunities for both universities to support their respective growth.

At the meeting was Mrs. Yvonne Baiden, Assistant Registrar at the International Programmes Office.
