  1. Accommodation
  • Accommodation will be provided for you at the GUSSS Hostel, KNUST.
  • The cost of accommodation for a semester is $650 (excluding beddings).
  • Bank Account detail for payment for accommodation:

  • Payment at the Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) Branch on KNUST Campus upon your arrival.

 

  1. Flight
  • The International Office, KNUST will provide you with a letter of introduction to the appropriate embassy to aid your VISA application.
  • Students must furnish the International Programmes Office, KNUST with their flight itinerary to assist the office to pick them up from the airport upon arrival.
  1. Arrival in Ghana
  • It is advisable to arrive in Ghana at least three days before the reopening date or latest within three days after reopening. This will enable you to settle in and undertake all the possible registration, and orientation and receive the necessary support at the point of arrival.

 

  1. The KNUST Helpdesk at Kotoka International Airport, Accra.
  • The University has set up a Help Desk at the Kotoka International Airport’s (KIA) Arrival Hall to help and guide all KNUST International Students and their families to travel safely to Kumasi at the start of every semester.
