Mrs. Sheila Nantogmah, Human Resource Business Partner for Nestle Ghana Ltd. called on the Dean of the International Programmes Office, Prof. Daniel Duah on 21st July, 2023. Mrs. Nantogmah is on a 3-day event at KNUST dubbed ‘College of Engineering Awards and Career Fair’ under the theme “Resilient Engineering for National Development – the Link between Academia and Industry”.
She stated that the annual programme is being organised to recognise and honour Industrial Partners who, in diverse ways, have supported the Engineering programmes and activities. She added that Nestle Ghana Ltd. is privileged to be a part of the event and looked forward to strengthening the existing Memorandum of Understanding between KNUST and Nestle Ghana Ltd.
On behalf of the Vice-Chancellor and Management of the University, Prof. Duah welcomed Mrs. Nantogmah to KNUST, a leading science and technology university in Africa. Prof. Duah stated that KNUST places importance on industrial engagement in the training of her students and was thus excited about the excellent opportunity being offered to the students to come face to face with companies and to discover opportunities available in their chosen fields of study. He commended Nestle Ghana Ltd. for being a good partner in taking up students as interns as well as recruiting them upon completion of programme of study.
Present at the meeting were Mr. Emmanuel Kofi Adjei, Assistant Registrar, Faculty of Civil and Geo-Engineering and Mrs. Yvonne Baiden, Assistant Registrar at the International Programmes Office.
