Speaking at the event, the Dean of the International Programmes Office, Professor Edmund Ekuadzi, expressed gratitude to participants for their presence and highlighted the essence of the celebration. “At a time like this, during the holiday season when we celebrate Christmas and all that it represents—especially the spirit of giving—it is important for us to come together as a community of students, staff, and friends of the IPO,” he noted.
Professor Ekuadzi further explained that the event serves as an important platform for interaction and social bonding, particularly for international students who remain on campus during the Christmas period. “For those who are far away from home and still here in Kumasi, this celebration provides an opportunity to meet, connect, and interact as a community,” he added.
Participants described the event as lively, inclusive, and heartwarming—a truly fun and jovial atmosphere to be part of.
In her closing remarks, the Vice-Dean of the International Programmes Office, Professor (Mrs.) Augustina Angelina Sylverken commended the strong turnout and expressed optimism for future editions of the event. She added that we look forward to even more exciting activities in 2026.
