The International Programmes Office (IPO), KNUST, commends three international students for volunteering their time to support the IT and Registration team during the ongoing E-Learning Awareness Week Celebration and International Conference, held at the Great Hall from 13th July to 17th July 2026. The students are Reine Njietcheu Ngamaleu, final-year Computer Engineering student from Cameroon; Margaret-Mary Ibida Kanulia, final-year Computer Engineering student from Nigeria; and Franck Diderique Kouokam Fogang, first-year MPhil Information Technology student from Cameroon.
Held under the theme, "Harnessing AI and Emerging Digital Technologies to Advance Inclusive, Equitable, and Ethical Learning Ecosystems," the long week event served as a platform for promoting innovation and collaboration in technology-enhanced education and the University's commitment to leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging digital technologies to foster inclusive, equitable, and ethical learning ecosystems. Speakers from government, academia, industry and international development organisations urged universities to move beyond the mere adoption of digital technologies.The event will be climaxed with an Excellence Award Dinner.
