A team of two comprising Professor Mohamed Elmaghrbi, Director of Student Recruitment, and Mrs. Lucy Rose, Senior Education and Student Experience Manager (Admissions), from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Nottingham, UK have called on the Director of the Directorate of Student Affairs, Prof. Wilson Agyei Agyare Y. A. on June 19, 2023.
Following the recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between KNUST and the University of Nottingham, UK, there has been series of engagements to enhance the collaboration.
Discussions focused on understanding the student leadership structure for both universities and opportunities for student leaders mobility for mutual learning.
Prof. Agyare welcomed the team and shared an overview of the comprehensive student leadership structure from Departments to Colleges, the Halls and Hostels of residences, SRC, parliament, Graduate Students, among others. He was happy about these opportunities for leaders to develop their leadership skills from different perspectives.
At the meeting was Prof. Daniel Y. A. Duah, Dean of the International Programmes Office.
