Team from the Management University of Africa, Kenya, Call on Dean, International Programmes Office

A team of two comprising the Vice-Chancellor of the Management University of Africa (MUA), Nairobi, Kenya, Professor Washington Okeyo and Senior Lecturer and Dean, School of Management and Leadership, Dr. Juster Nyaga, has called on the Dean of International Programmes Office, Prof. Daniel Y.A. Duah, on June 12, 2023.

Established in 2012, the Management University of Africa (MUA) is a private university with a student population of 6,000. The purpose of the visit was to discuss possible collaboration between KNUST and MUA.

On behalf of the Vice-Chancellor and Management of the University, Prof. Duah welcomed the team to KNUST, a leading science and technology university in Africa. Prof. Duah gave a brief overview of KNUST and indicated that KNUST has been ranked the best in terms of quality education for SDG 4 by the Times Higher Education for 2023. He highlighted the importance of partnerships in the operations of institutions and expressed the commitment of KNUST in supporting MUA.

Present at the meeting were Mr. Kwame Owusu Afram, Deputy Registrar, Admissions and Recruitment, Ghana Communication Technology University, Mr. Michael Yaw Acheampong, Deputy Inspector General of Schools and both Alumni of KNUST and Mrs. Yvonne Baiden, Assistant Registrar, International Programmes Office.
