Team from the University of Nottingham, UK, Call on Provost, College of Engineering

A team of three comprising Professor Mohamed Elmaghrbi, Director of Student Recruitment, Mrs. Lucy Rose, Senior Education and Student Experience Manager (Admissions), both from the Faculty of Engineering and Ms. Emma Tarrant Tayou, Director of Graduate Guidance Group and Consultant/Authorised Representative of the University of Nottingham in Ghana called on the Provost of the College of Engineering, Prof. Kwabena Britwum Nyarko on June 20, 2023.

Following the recent signing of a Memorandum of Agreement focusing on engineering and architecture, the team, on the second day of their visit, paid courtesy calls on the Provost of College of Engineering, Prof. Kwabena Biritwum Nyarko and the Dean, Faculty of Built Environment, Prof. Samuel Amos-Abanyie.

Prof. Elmaghrbi briefed them on an impending Information Session on ‘Preparing your Masters application for September 2024’ for final year students from the Departments of Architecture and Civil Engineering.

The students later took part in an interactive session looking at opportunities for further study and funding opportunities at the University of Nottingham.

The Dean of the International Programmes Office, Prof. Daniel Duah, later hosted a networking lunch for the Alumni Group of University of Nottingham at KNUST where updates were shared on areas of collaboration and upcoming opportunities.
