On Thursday, April 10, 2025, six KNUST students set to embark on a semester exchange programme at the Technical University of Munich, Germany, paid a courtesy call on Professor Daniel Duah, Dean of the International Programmes Office (IPO), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
The visiting delegation included Miss Gospel-Queen Sarfoah Agyemang (MPhil, Chemistry), Miss Ruth Obiribea Yeboah (MPhil, Food and Post-Harvest Engineering), Mr. Anthony Tieku Nsiah (MSc, Architecture), and Mr. Kwame Baffour Gyimah Owusu (MPhil, Post-Harvest Engineering). Two other students who have already arrived in Germany joined virtually.

Having successfully met the selection criteria for the six-month exchange programme, the students visited the IPO for their exit meeting.
Professor Daniel Duah warmly welcomed the team and congratulated them on their selection. He reminded them of their role as ambassadors of KNUST while in Germany and urged them to uphold the integrity and values of the University by adhering to the laws and regulations of their host country.
He also offered practical advice on pre-departure preparations, including acquiring travel documents and undergoing medical examinations. In addition, he shared valuable tips on how to live economically and efficiently in Germany. Professor Duah reassured the students of IPO’s unwavering support and wished them safe travels.
Also present at the meeting were Mr. Livingstone Agbenorxevi, Assistant Collaborations and Partnerships Officer, and Mr. Attah-Nyame Essampong, Visibility and Communications Officer, both of the IPO.
