On Friday, April 11, 2025, a delegation from the University of Windsor — a Canadian university with a student population of 18,000 — paid a courtesy visit to the International Programmes Office (IPO) of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

The delegation comprised Dr. Chris Busch, Associate Vice-President of Enrolment Management and Senior International Officer; Dr. Bill Van Heyst, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering; and Miss Margaret Ajiduah, International Recruitment Specialist for West Africa.

Their visit to KNUST aimed to explore potential partnership opportunities with the College of Engineering. As part of the visit, the delegation met with Professor Daniel Duah, Dean of the International Programmes Office.

Professor Daniel Duah warmly welcomed the delegation and emphasized the importance of international partnerships in providing KNUST students with a world-class education. He expressed his satisfaction with the alignment of proposed areas of collaboration between the two institutions, namely: student exchange, faculty exchange, and joint research initiatives. He also conveyed his enthusiasm to advance the partnership, subject to further discussions with the College of Engineering.

Also present at the meeting were Mr. Livingstone Agbenorxevi, Assistant Collaborations and Partnerships Officer, and Mr. Attah-Nyame Essampong, Visibility Officer — both staff of the IPO.
