On Wednesday, 11th September 2025, the International Students Association (ISA), led by President Mr. Pascal M. Muzungu, paid a courtesy call on the Dean of the International Programmes Office (IPO) at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). The visit served to introduce the newly elected ISA executives to the Dean, strengthen collaboration between international students and the University’s leadership, and present an award of appreciation to the International Programmes Office and Dean for their continuous support for the Association.
The occasion also marked handing handover of responsibilities from the outgoing executives, thus, Pascal M. Muzungu (President), Yaya Sanyang (Financial Secretary), Khol Peter Phar Chuol (Vice President), Bruce Taremwa (Public Relations Officer), and Alaka Treasure Ayoola (Organizing Secretary) to the incoming leadership team: Divine Jaja (President), Fosah Caleb (Vice President), Semwanga Aaron (General Secretary), Ifediora Emmanuel Ebere Obialor (Public Relations Officer), and Njietcheu Ngamaleu Reine (Organizing Secretary).
The Dean warmly welcomed the new executives, extolled the outgoing team for their dedicated service, interesting activities, good engagement with their colleagues, and reaffirmed IPO’s commitment to working closely with ISA. He assured the Association that the concerns of international students would continue to be prioritized, with tailored programmes, mentorship schemes, cultural integration activities, and regular engagements forming part of the support system.
In his closing remarks, Prof Daniel Duah congratulated the new executives, stating: “Leadership is an opportunity to serve. We look forward to seeing you serve your colleagues well, and we are here to support you.”
Also present at the meeting were Mr. Joel Mensah- Senior Administrative Assistant and Mr. Attah-Nyame Essampong- Visibility and Communications Officer both of the IPO.
