Ms. Boateng, who is also pursuing a part-time PhD in Management at the University of St Andrews, visited to explore opportunities for deeper collaboration between the University of St Andrews (UK) and KNUST.

Ms. Boateng expressed keen interest in expanding collaboration avenues, including increasing scholarship opportunities for talented young Ghanaians. She highlighted possibilities for fully-funded PhD scholarships under the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program, with flexible arrangements that allow scholars to engage in online learning while spending one or two semesters in residence at the host institution.
Prof. Edmund Ekuadzi warmly welcomed Ms. Boateng and acknowledged the value of the longstanding relationship between the two universities. He assured her that KNUST would seriously consider staff and student mobility programmes to further strengthen academic ties and create mutually beneficial opportunities for both institutions.
The visit underscores KNUST’s commitment to expanding strategic international partnerships that enhance access to quality education, research collaboration, and global opportunities for its students and faculty.
