On Sunday, June 8, 2025, a high-level delegation from Hubei University of Automotive Technology (HUAT), China including Professor Wang Xiao, President of HUAT and Professor Zhou Mingzhi, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs; assisted by Prof. Su Zibo shared insights about graduate scholarship opportunities and programmes at Hubei University of Automotive Technology at the Confucius Institute at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
In his opening remarks, President Xiao expressed delight about the good fruits that the partnership between KNUST and HUAT is bearing less than 2 years and was very happy about the great bond among the staff and leadership of the Institute. He also expressed his admiration for the beautiful KNUST campus and then invited the students to take advantage of the opportunities to study in China.
With over 60 participants attending it was a highly interactive session with opportunities and modalities explained by Prof. Su Zibo, Chinese Director of the Institute.
The Ghanaian Director of the Institute, Prof. Daniel Y. A. Duah, asked students and the university community to make the most of the Institute subsequent to the commissioning of her offices on the second floor West direction of the Central Classroom Block and to look out for upcoming programmes and opportunities.
