Delegation from College of Business, Southern University USA, Pays Courtesy Call on Dean, International Programmes Office

A thirty-two-member delegation comprising ten faculty members and twenty-two students from the College of Business, Southern University, Baton Rouge, USA paid a courtesy call on Prof. Daniel Duah, Dean of International Programmes Office on Monday, 26th June, 2023.

The leader of the team, Dr. Donald R. Andrews, Dean of the College of Business and Project Director (Entrepreneurship and Innovation Team) expressed the team’s excitement to visit KNUST. He thanked staff of the International Programmes Office for their support in the facilitation of the collaboration and partnership between the two institutions.

On behalf of the Vice-Chancellor and Management of KNUST, Prof. Duah welcomed the team to KNUST, the best University in the world for SDG 4 - Quality Education according to The Times Higher Education for 2023. He provided an overview of the collegiate system on KNUST including the Institute of Distance Learning and looked forward to the strengthening of the relationship between the two universities. He wished the team a fruitful stay in KNUST and Ghana.

Present at the meeting were Professor Ahmed Agyapong, Head, Department of Marketing and Corporate Strategy, KNUST School of Business; Mr. Festus Nyame, Senior Assistant Registrar, KNUST School of Business; Mrs. Yvonne Baiden, Assistant Registrar, International Programmes Office and a section of students from the KNUST School of Business.
