Delegation from the International Programmes and Institutional Linkages (IPIL) of Koforidua Technical University Pays Institutional Visit to KNUST International Programmes Office

On Tuesday, March 11, 2025, a delegation from the International Programmes and Institutional Linkages (IPIL) of Koforidua Technical University (KTU) visited the International Programmes Office (IPO) at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). The delegation included Dr. Frank Agyei Dwomoh, Dean; Mr. Godsway K. Agbodo, Administrator; and Mr. Albert Edem Gunu, Assistant Administrator.

The purpose of the visit was to exchange institutional knowledge, share experiences and best practices and explore potential areas of collaboration between the two institutions. Dr. Dwomoh noted that a number of staff members of KTU are alumni of KNUST, emphasizing the value of learning from KNUST as KTU continues to grow as an institution.

The delegation was warmly received by Professor Esmeranda Manful, Vice Dean of the IPO, who expressed great enthusiasm for the productive discussions between the two offices.

The delegation had the opportunity to engage in a series of presentations by the IPO staff, who detailed the various activities undertaken by the office. These included insight into Office Administration, Collaborations and Partnerships, Inbound and Outbound Exchanges, Visibility and Communication, and Hospitality Management. The meeting proved to be highly fruitful, with both teams learning valuable insights from each other.

Mr. Charles Asamoah Boateng, Deputy Registrar for Admissions Office, provided an overview of KNUST’s Admissions Office and highlighted the university’s efforts in international student recruitment.
