On Feburuay 20, Prof. Daniel Duah, the Ghanaian Director of Confucius Institute at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and Prof. Su Zibo, the Chinese Director paid a courtesy call to Dr. Frank Amoakohene, Regional Minister and his Chief Director, Mr. Michael Owusu.
Prof. Su gave a brief introduction of the nature of Confucius Institute. Prof. Daniel Duah briefly presented the development of the Confucius Institute since its establishment in KNUST on December 19, 2023. They then delivered an invitation letter to the Honorable Regional Minister, inviting him to lead the "Chinese Bridge" Principal's Tour to China, which is scheduled from April 25-May 3.
Hon. Dr. Amoakohene expressed keen interest in the activities of Confucius Institute. He happily accepted the invitation and wished to visit the Institute prior to the Tour to China.
Also present was Mr. Samuel Sarpong, Senior Administrative Assistant at CI KNUST.
