Green Evolution Project Team from Colorado State University, Led by Prof. Geoffrey Morris, Called on Dean of the International Programmes Office, KNUST

On Monday , January 13, 2025, a delegation from Colorado State University, led by Professor Geoffrey Morris, Associate Professor and Director of the Green Evolution Project, paid a courtesy call on the Dean of the International Programmes Office (IPO), Professor Daniel Y. A. Duah, at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). The team included Associate Professor Davina Rhodes, Research Coordinator and Program Manager Ashton Strum, and was accompanied by Dr. Alexander Wireko Kena, Senior Lecturer at KNUST.

The discussions centered on the Green Evolution Project, focusing on its goals, funding sources, and overall mission and vision. Professor Morris also highlighted the upcoming 2nd Annual General Meeting of the Green Evolution Project, scheduled to take place at KNUST, which aims to advance climate resilience and sustainable development initiatives.

Professor Daniel Duah warmly welcomed the delegation on behalf of the Vice Chancellor and the entire university leadership. He emphasized the pivotal role of international partnerships in fostering global opportunities and advancing KNUST’s mission. Additionally, he provided insights into the formal processes involved in developing and finalizing Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), including the legal and procedural stages. He wished them fruitful discussions and looked forward to growing the partnership.

The meeting was attended by Ms. Ernestine Oheneba Danso, Collaborations and Partnerships Officer; Ms. Laudina Kumi-Adjei, Administrative Support Officer; and Mr. Samuel Sarpong, Visibility and Communications Officer.
