International Programmes Office holds First Information Session for McCall MacBain Scholarship for 2024 Cohort

The International Programmes Office has held an information session for interested applicants for the McCall McBain Scholarship for the 2024 cohort for graduate study at McGill University in Canada on June 23, 2023 at the Gardener Conference Room at the Great Hall.

KNUST will be nominating ten recent graduates for the 2024 cohort for the scholarship which also includes leadership training. The Dean and Vice Dean of the International Programmes Office, Profs. Daniel Y. A. Duah and Esmeranda Manful respectively, took turns to explain the details of the scholarship, the application procedure, expectations and also answered questions from the over 300 participants from recent graduates from all colleges at KNUST.

A special feature of the session was the talk by Rachael Opoku Afriyie, a winner of one of ten slots worldwide from the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. She shared her experiences having gone through the process and would be starting her graduate studies in Fall 2023.

The International Programmes Office wished all applicants well and also shared information about upcoming university fairs to study abroad.
