The International Students’ Association (ISA), KNUST, in collaboration with the KNUST E-Learning Centre, organised the second edition of its three-day programme flagship Digital Skills Training Programme, reaffirming its commitment to equipping students with practical competencies for today’s evolving digital world on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.
The initiative was launched to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry demands by equipping students with practical skills beyond the classroom. Following the success of last year’s maiden edition, this year’s training covered photography, website development, digital marketing, graphic design, and CV writing. Through hands-on and interactive sessions, participants gained valuable tools and techniques to support their academic, entrepreneurial, and professional growth.

Gracing the event Mrs. Yvonne Baiden, Senior Assistant Registrar, IPO, underscored the IPO’s continued dedication to student empowerment and growth. In her remarks, she praised the leadership of the International Students’ Association for its foresight and commitment to initiatives that contribute meaningfully to student development. Special appreciation was extended to the E-Learning Centre team, led by its Director and Registrar, for their unwavering support and dedication in making the initiative possible.
Also present at the opening event were key facilitators, including the Mrs. Abigail Dzama Anderson, Senior Assistant Registrar, KNUST E-Learning Centre, the President of the ISA, Divine Jaja, and representatives from the E-Learning Centre and the International Programmes Office. Their collective efforts continue to drive the programme’s impact and ensure that students are exposed to meaningful learning experiences that align with current global trends.
