Prof. Jomo Sankara of Illinois State University, USA explores Partnership Opportunities with KNUST

Prof. Jomo Sankara, an Associate Professor of Accounting at the Department of Accounting and Business Information Systems, College of Business, Illinois State University, has called on the Dean of the International Programmes Office, Prof. Daniel Duah on Wednesday, 17th May, 2023.

Prof. Sankara, who is currently on Sabbatical Leave in Ghana, has been mandated to initiate possible collaboration between KNUST and Illinois State University.

On behalf of the Vice-Chancellor and Management of the University, Prof. Duah welcomed him to KNUST, a leading science and technology university in Africa. He gave an overview of the University and the International Programmes Office. He assured Prof. Sankara that KNUST has a great track record of hosting students and staff using her own facilities and systems.

Potential programmes for exchange include accounting, insurance, agriculture, education among others.

Present at the meeting were Mrs. Paula Sankara and Mrs. Yvonne Baiden, Assistant Registrar at the International Programmes Office.

The couple later toured the beautiful campus of KNUST to inspect some facilities available for staff and students during exchanges.
