Prof. Zeno W. Wicks III called on the Dean of the International Programmes Office, Prof. Daniel Duah on July 05, 2023. Prof. Zeno was a Fulbright Professor of Plant Sciences and Statistics from South Dakota State University (SDSU) with 32 years of distinguished service before his retirement.
The purpose of his visit is to explore more opportunities for collaboration between KNUST and partners in SDSU and South Dakota, USA in relation to Agriculture Sustainability and Leadership. Prof. Zeno is also expected to chair two sessions at Ghana’s first E-Learning Conference at KNUST dubbed: “Education without borders: digitalizing to improve accessibility, quality, inclusivity and sustainability". Discussions also focused on opportunities to connect KNUST Hospital with NGOs in the USA to support the university hospital with medical equipment.
Prof. Duah welcomed him once again to KNUST. He stated that the collaboration will be very beneficial to the Faculty of Agriculture, University Hospital and the entire University.
Present at the meeting were Dr. Ebenezer Nyarko, a Senior Pharmacist, University Hospital and Shalom Ewenam Agborli, Inbound Exchange Officer, International Programmes Office.
