A team of three comprising Professor Mohamed Elmaghrbi, Director of Student Recruitment, Mrs. Lucy Rose, Senior Education and Student Experience Manager (Admissions), both from the Faculty of Engineering and Ms. Emma Tarrant Tayou, Director of Graduate Guidance Group and Consultant/Authorised Representative of the University of Nottingham in Ghana paid a courtesy call on the Vice Chancellor of KNUST, Prof. (Mrs.) Rita Akosua Dickson on June 19, 2023. The team is on a 2-day visit to KNUST to celebrate the ongoing partnership between the two institutions and to explore areas for further collaboration.
The Vice-Chancellor, on behalf of Management and the university community, welcomed the team to KNUST, the best University in the world for SDG 4 - Quality Education according to the Times Higher Education for 2023. She expressed her delight in the existing collaboration between the two universities and was hopeful that KNUST would explore more opportunities in exchange programmes for administrators and student leaders. She looked forward to paying a return visit soon.
Professor Elmaghrbi, on behalf of the team, was grateful for the warm reception and looked forward to the strengthening of the relationship between the two universities by mounting new programmes.
