A delegation from Interior Designers and Decorators Ghana (IDDG), led by Miss Audrey Forson (President) and Mr. John Jeremy-Lynn Hymore (Administrator), visited the International Programmes Office (IPO) at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) on March 25, 2025.

The visit followed a workshop organized in February by IDDG in collaboration with the Department of Architecture and facilitated by the IPO. Impressed by the success of the event, Miss Forson had pledged to show appreciation to the coordinators. Honoring this promise, IDDG presented two Tekura tables to Dr. Alexander Marful and Mr. Benedict Owusu Brown for their role in this coordination at the Department of Architecture.

Finally a modern 55 inch television set was donated to the IPO for their excellent role in the facilitation of this partnership.

Expressing gratitude for the generous gesture, Professor Daniel Duah emphasized the importance of bridging the gap between academia and industry. He noted that a strong partnership between IDDG and the Department of Architecture would significantly contribute to this goal. He also reassured IDDG of IPO’s commitment to formalizing the agreement between the two parties, stating that it would be processed through the University’s Legal Office once approved by the Department of Architecture.

Prof. Duah also indicated that since the Department of Architecture was the implementing unit for this partnership, he would be donating the television to them on behalf of the Board and Management of the International Programmes Office.

Also present at the meeting were Mr. Livingstone Agbenorxevi, Assistant Collaborations and Partnerships Officer, and Mr. Attah-Nyame Essampong, Visibility and Communications Officer.
