African Director for Notre Dame Global paid a courtesy call on the Dean of the International Programmes Office

On Monday, August 4, 2025, Dr. Jackline Oluoch-Aridi, African Director of the University of Notre Dame Global Office based in Nairobi, paid a courtesy visit to Professor Daniel Y. A. Duah, Dean of the International Programmes Office (IPO) at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

Dr. Oluoch-Aridi’s visit formed part of the Pamoja ND Africa Initiative, a broader effort by the University of Notre Dame, Indiana, USA, to strengthen collaborations and enhance global engagement across the African continent.

During the meeting, Dr. Oluoch-Aridi expressed Notre Dame’s strong interest in partnering with KNUST under the Pamoja Initiative. She noted that Notre Dame regards KNUST as a strategic collaborator and was eager to learn more about the University’s academic and research priorities to explore areas of mutual interest.

Professor Daniel Duah warmly welcomed her and highlighted the University’s readiness to engage in meaningful partnerships. He assured Dr. Oluoch-Aridi that KNUST’s colleges and units are led by capable and visionary leaders who would be available to provide relevant information needed to advance the collaboration. He looked forward to an engaging and mutually beneficial partnership discussions.
