Bénédicte Rousselet, who has been on a semester’s exchange on the Painting and Sculpture Department at the Faculty of Art, final year, has called on the Dean of International Programmes Office, Prof. Daniel Y. A. Duah on March 29, 2023 ahead of her departure.
Bénédicte is a graduate student of Art at Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts - Paris, France and arrived at the beginning of the year to KNUST. She indicated that she had thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of her stay at KNUST including the opportunity to audit other courses in jewelry and metal smithing. She added that having an internship with a jewelry firm with the help of the Department was great.
She was full of praise the the staff of the International Programmes Office who made her feel at home. She mentioned the importance of the orientation at the start of her stay and the opportunity to meet other Exchange students as an important step in helping her feel at home.
She acknowledged the important role the staff of the Faculty of Art played during her stay at KNUST. Activities such as Akwaaba Night and Food Festival were also some highlights of her stay. She added that she would recommend KNUST for other students to study at and promised to help with providing experiential knowledge for incoming exchange students of her school.
Prof. Duah expressed delight at the satisfaction of Bénédicte during her exchange at KNUST. He indicated that she should be an ambassador of KNUST and that the university would be happy to follow her progress in life adding that she was always welcome back.
