On Tuesday, January 14, 2025, a delegation from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), including Professor Daniel Duah, Dean of the International Programmes Office and Ghanaian Director of the Confucius Institute (CI); Professor Su Zibo, Chinese Director of CI; and Professor Min Zuchuan, a CI faculty member, met with Professor Gabriel Dwomoh, Vice Chancellor of Kumasi Technical University (KsTU), to officially sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions to establish a Teaching Centre at KsTU.
Professor Dwomoh extended a warm welcome to the delegation and expressed his enthusiasm for partnering with the Confucius Institute at KNUST. After fruitful discussions and mutual assurances, the agreement was successfully signed.
Also present at the meeting were Prof. Sarfo Mensah, Dean of International Programmes Office and Mrs. Sarah Agboglah of the Vice Chancellor’s Office both at KsTU and then Miss Ernestine Oheneba Danso, Collaborations and Partnerships Officer; Mr. Livingstone Agbenorxevi, Assistant Collaborations and Partnerships Officer; and Mr. Attah-Nyame Essampong, Visibility and Communications Officer.
