Gianluca Floris has called on the Dean of the International Programmes Office, Prof. Daniel Duah, on Tuesday June 6, 2023. Giancula, who has completed his 2nd year studies at the University of Sassari in Italy has arrived on campus for a semester exchange in Veterinary Medicine.
He stated that KNUST has the oldest School of Veterinary Medicine in Ghana which influenced his decision to join the programme, alongside having an interest in tropical birds and wildlife and being on a great campus.
Prof. Duah mentioned that KNUST believes in student and faculty mobility because it enriches the University’s Community as a whole. He officially welcomed Gianluca to KNUST on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor to the best University in the World for Quality Education (SDG Goal 4) for 2023 according to The Times Higher Education and wished him a pleasant stay at KNUST and in Ghana.
At the meeting was Ms. Theresa Joy Kamassah, Officer in charge of Collaborations and Partnerships at the International Programmes Office.
