Students from Indiana University Paid Courtesy Visit to Dean of International Programmes Office

On Tuesday, May 27, 2025, a delegation from Indiana University, USA, paid a courtesy visit to Professor Daniel Duah, Dean of the International Programmes Office at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). The team was led by Courtland Crenshaw and included Demilade Adeyeye, Agness Lungu, Kate McDonald, Wodsander Maxime, Henery Cash, and Sam Connelly. They were introduced by Mrs. Efua Adabie, the Executive Director of Breaking Doors Foundation and lead facilitator for the visit.

Mrs. Adabie shared that the team is in Ghana to teach in basic and high schools and engage with students as part of an ongoing project in robotics, ICT and cultural immersion. As part of their visit, the group is also connecting with KNUST students, touring the campus, and immersing themselves in the Ghanaian university experience.

The team mentioned that they had already participated in the Akwasidae festival, where they experienced a rich display of the Asante culture.

Professor Daniel Duah warmly welcomed the delegation and provided an overview of KNUST. He expressed his appreciation for their visit and for choosing to explore KNUST among all the universities in Ghana. He wished them a fruitful engagement with students and a memorable stay.

Also present at the meeting were Mrs. Yvonne Baiden, Senior Assistant Registrar; Miss Ernestine Oheneba Danso, Collaborations and Partnerships Officer; Mr. Livingstone Agbenorxevi, Assistant Collaborations and Partnerships Officer, and Mr. Attah-Nyame Essampong, Visibility and Communications Officer.
