DEAN, IPO VISITS COLLEGES OF PHARMACY AND NATURAL SCIENCE AT SOUTH DAKOTA STATE UNIVERSITY, USA

As part of the official visit to South Dakota State University, the Dean of International Programmes, Prof. Daniel Duah and Hospital Pharmacist, Dr. Ebenezer Asamoah Nyarkoh have visited the Colleges of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions and Natural Science to explore opportunities for collaboration between the two universities.

The Pharmacy discussions was led by Dean and Prof. Daniel J. Hansen with his team including Professor Jodi Rylance Heins, Director of Experiential Education; Prof. Hemachand Tummaia, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences; Prof. Om Perumal, Associate Dean for Research and Director, Center for Drug, Disease and Delivery; and Prof. Brad R. Labile, August Dean for Academic Programmes.

The Natural Science discussions was led by Dean and Prof. Charlene Wolf-Hall and her team focused on the four Departments: Billig and Microbiology, Chemistry and Biochemistry, Geography and Geospatial Sciences, and Physics.

Discussions focused on staff and student exchange, joint research collaboration among others.
