DEAN, IPO CALLS ON PRESIDENT DUNN OF SOUTH DAKOTA STATE UNIVERSITY IN BROOKINGS, SD - USA

The Dean of International Programmes Office, Prof. Daniel Y. A. Duah, has called on the President of South Dakota State University, Prof. Barry H. Dunn who is a Professor of Animal Science at Bookings, South Dakota. Prof. Duah was on this official visit with Dr. Ebenezer Asamoah Nyarko, Senior KNUST Hospital Pharmacist.

With the impending expiration of the current MOU, the Dean explored opportunities for expanding the new collaboration following a review of the existing agreement. It was also to prepare for the official visit of the Vice Chancellor to South Dakota, highlighting the increasing partnership between the two universities.

President Dunn welcomed Dean Duah and Dr. Asamoah Nyarkoh and recalled the two study abroad travels by students and faculty of SDSU to KNUST. He looked forward to the expansion of our collaboration, welcomed the KNUST team to explore SDSU and accepted the invitation to visit KNUST in 2023.

The SDSU team included Prof. Dennis Hedge, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs of the Office of Academia Affairs; Dr. Jon W. Stauff, Assistant Vice President for International Affairs of the Office of International Office; Dr. Greg Heiberger, Associate Dean of the College of Natural Sciences, and Sally Gillman, Director-Study Abroad at the International Affairs.
