Team from The University of Ulster, Northern Ireland, UK Call on Dean of International Programmes Office

A team of two, comprising Prof. Paul Carmichael, Professor of Public Policy and Government and Dr. Venkat Iyer, Lecturer at School of Law, and Director of Educational Partnerships and International Affairs, have called on the Dean of International Programmes Office, Prof. Daniel Duah on May 10, 2023.

The team is on a day’s visit to the Faculty of Law and Department of History and Political Studies to deliver a lecture titled: “Devolution and Constitutional Reforms: Comparative Perspectives” to the staff.

On behalf of the Vice-Chancellor and Management of the University, Prof. Duah welcomed the team to KNUST, a leading Science and Technology University in Africa. He highlighted the importance of partnerships and networking to the growth and development of the University and expressed keen interest in future partnership and collaboration with the University of Ulster. There was a commitment from both sides to continue discussions with the view of formalizing our relationship.

Present at the meeting were Dr. Chris Adomako-Kwakye, the Acting Dean, Faculty of Law and Mrs. Yvonne Baiden, Assistant Registrar at the International Programmes Office.
