Dean and Professor Emeritus of the School of Business and Technology, Huston-Tillotson University, USA, Dr. Steven Edmond has called on the Dean of International Programmes Office, Prof. Daniel Y. A. Duah on May 17, 2023 to explore partnership opportunities.

The meeting, which centered around fostering collaboration between KNUST and Huston-Tillotson University, was hinged on a determination to open new doors of opportunity for their respective institutions.

It emerged that Dr. Steven Edmond, was a board member of the HBCU Africa Education Coalition (HEAEC). He hinted at the potential for collaboration between KNUST and Huston-Tillotson University and her partners with the prospect of exchange programmes and shared initiatives leading to students from the USA and their network, coming to KNUST for academic exchange.

Mr. Stephen Oppong Osei Tutu, the Senior Administrative Assistant at the Advancement and Alumni Relations Office who facilitated the visit, indicated his commitment to supporting the collaboration and looked forward to the next steps.

Profs. Duah and Edmond committed to further explore potential collaboration opportunities by obtaining additional information about the HEAEC, thus, laying the groundwork for future joint endeavors.
