Dipl. Angelika Plummer and Prof. Dr. Caroline Gunther from Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, Germany call on Dean of International Programmes Office

Dipl. Angelika Plummer and Prof. Dr. Caroline Gunther from Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, Germany paid a courtesy call on the Dean of the International Programmes Office, KNUST, Prof. Daniel Y. A. Duah on June 14, 2023.

KNUST and Frankfurt university have been partners since 2011. The purpose of their visit was for an Erasmus Staff Mobility to develop ideas for enhancing the cooperation, discuss the joint publication of a book on inclusive designs showcasing the results of the 2022 joint international workshop on the topic: Assessing Inclusivity of Student Halls on KNUST Campus, the preparation of the next Erasmus+ exchange in winter 2023/2024 Academic year and possible development of a KNUST Competence Center of Inclusion.

Prof. Duah welcomed them on behalf of the Vice Chancellor and Management of the University to KNUST. He expressed his delight about the work done so far. He also mentioned that the Vice Chancellor is thrilled with the concept of Inclusive Design and Sustainability adding that the Department of Architecture has seen increasing number of students interested in topics focusing on inclusive designs for their design theses.

Present at the meeting was Miss Shalom Ewenam Agborli, Inbound Mobility Officer at the International Programmes Office.
