Mrs. Salema Oti, a lecturer of the Caribbean School of Architecture, (CSA), University of Technology, Jamaica called on the Dean of the International Programmes Office, Prof. Daniel Duah, on June 19, 2023.
Salema is a full-time lecturer, Studio Lead for 1st Year Design Studio, Lecturer in Architectural History and Theory, Computing and an Activist for the CSA. She was in KNUST to explore opportunities for collaboration between the two universities. She indicated how surprised she was with the size of the university, the greenness of the campus, and the facilities available.
Having organized a tour of the University for Salema earlier, Prof. Duah welcomed her to KNUST on behalf of the Vice Chancellor and noted that KNUST sees partnerships as an important way to grow. He took the opportunity to invite Selema to the professional inaugural lecture of Prof. Michael Poku Boansi on transport poverty as a way of experiencing an important academic tradition of KNUST. Salema visited with his son.
