Professor Donald Elmore of Wellesley College, Ma, USA Call on Vice-Dean of International Programmes Office

Professor Donald Elmore, who is the Michael and Denise Kellen '68 Chair in the Sciences and a Professor of Chemistry at Wellesley College, Massachusetts, USA, has called on the Vice-Dean of the International Programmes Office, Prof. Esmeranda Manful, on 22nd June, 2023 during his 2-day visit to KNUST.

The purpose of his visit was to explore the establishment of exchange programmes between the Departments of Chemistry at Wellesley College and our esteemed institution. The exchange programme aims at fostering academic collaboration, knowledge sharing and cultural exchange between the institutions, thus providing valuable international opportunities for faculty and students.

On behalf of the Vice-Chancellor and Management of KNUST, Prof. Manful welcomed Prof. Elmore to KNUST, the best University in the world for SDG 4 - Quality Education according to the Times Higher Education for 2023. Discussions at the meeting were centred on the objectives and potential benefits of exchange programmes, as well as guidance on the necessary procedures and support needed on the part of both institutions.
