As part of efforts to enhance the employability of international students, the International Programmes Office (IPO) at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in collaboration with the KNUST E-Learning Centre and Lead It Africa, hosted an interactive workshop during the recent International Studentsā Hangout.
The event, themed āReady-4-Lifeā, was led by Dr. Herman Yobo Addae, Chief Executive Officer of Lead It Africa and who doubles as the Global President KNUST Alumni Association.
Dr. Addae took participants through series of hands-on activities focused on job market readiness. The workshop covered key areas such as crafting impactful and ethical curriculum vitae, effectively communicating oneās story to prospective employers and mastering interview techniques.
In his opening remarks, Professor Daniel Y. A. Duah, Dean of the International Programmes Office, expressed appreciation to Lead It Africa for its dedication to empowering students with practical skills that are essential for life beyond the classroom.
The workshop received high praise from attendees, with many students sharing that the experience far exceeded their expectations. Staff from both the International Programmes Office and the E-Learning Centre were also present to support and participate in the event
