On Wednesday, 14 January 2026, a research team working under Project AAKTP 13910 paid a courtesy call on Professor Edmund Ekuadzi, Dean of the International Programmes Office (IPO), KNUST. The delegation comprised Professor Fidelis Kpondo of the University of Health and Applied Sciences, Ghana; Professor Gordon Morris of the University of Huddersfield, UK; and Ms. Belinda Boaduwa Ntow, KTP Associate.
The team was warmly received by a team from the IPO, including Mrs. Yvonne Baiden, Senior Assistant Registrar; Miss Gladys Obenewaah Sekyi, Administrative Support Officer; and Miss Patricia Frimpong-Manso, Visibility and Communications Officer.
Leading the delegation, Professor Jacob Agbenorhevi, Professor in the Department of Food Science and Technology at KNUST, provided an overview of the AAKTP 13910 project, outlining its objectives, scope, expected outcomes, and its strategic significance to the University and the wider academic community.
In his remarks, Professor Ekuadzi expressed appreciation for the visit and underscored the critical role of research in advancing the University’s internationalisation agenda. He reaffirmed the IPO’s commitment to strengthening partnerships, enhancing mobility programmes, and facilitating engagement between researchers and international collaborators.
The visit concluded with a shared commitment to sustained communication and the exploration of collaborative pathways in support of research excellence and international engagement.
